Who runs this site

IndexProp SG is published by Matera Capital Limited, which is the controller for the little personal data the site touches. The contact address on the contact page reaches it.

What is collected

There are no accounts, no login and no cookies. What remains is what serving any website involves: the hosting platform’s edge servers receive and may log your requests (your IP address, the page asked for, and standard request headers) to deliver the pages and defend the service. IndexProp SG does not use those logs to identify or profile anyone.

Page counting

The site counts page views, plus a handful of product interactions such as switching a tab, toggling the unit or exporting a CSV, with Vercel Web Analytics, the hosting platform’s own cookieless counter. It records which pages are viewed and aggregate context (country, device class, browser family, referrer), identifies a visit only by a hash that cannot be reversed into a person and is discarded after the day ends, sets no cookie, and stores nothing on your device. There is no cross-site tracking and no advertising identifier, and IndexProp SG sees only aggregate totals. Because nothing is stored on your device and no personal data is kept, it runs without a consent banner; if the site ever adds measurement that does not meet that bar, it will arrive with a consent choice and its own section here first.

Third parties

Area and street pages carry a map. Its background tiles are drawn from OpenStreetMap data and served by CARTO, so opening a page and letting its map load sends a request to basemaps.cartocdn.com. That request carries your IP address and which part of the map you are looking at, as any image request would. The map does not load until the page has finished, and nothing else on the site contacts a third party: fonts are served from this site, and the block coordinates the resale dots sit on are built into this site’s own data files ahead of time.

Personal data in the source

The HDB Resale Flat Prices dataset contains no names and no personal identifiers. It records the block and street of a resold flat but not the unit number, which is what keeps an individual transaction from being tied to an individual household. IndexProp SG publishes it at that same grain and does nothing to narrow it further. The URA registers reach this site only as derived statistics; no individual caveat or lease contract is published here in any form.

The feedback panel

The site carries a feedback button. If you use it, we receive what you typed, the email address if you chose to give one, and a description of the page you were on when you sent it: its address and title, which section of the product it belongs to, your viewport size, browser language, timezone, the dataset version the page was showing, and how long the panel was open. Nothing is read from your device’s storage for it, and the message travels once, as an email to the contact address; there is no database of submissions.

Our hosting platform may attach a coarse location to the request, derived from your IP address. It is the platform’s guess, often no finer than a country, and often simply wrong on VPNs and mobile networks; we treat it accordingly.

If a send fails, the panel says so. It never reports a send it did not get.

Your rights

Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act applies. You can ask what personal data the controller holds about you (for this site, at most a request log line or an email you sent) and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with the answer, the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore is the complaint route.

Changes

If the site ever adds anything else that touches personal data, this page will describe it before or in the same release, never after: this page’s feedback section arrived that way, and so did the page-counting section above when the counter shipped.
